vendaaka pacchadi 
1.Ladys finger(vendakka)-few in no
2.Curd-1/4 cup
3.Oil-for deep frying
4.Chilly powder-
5.Salt-to taste

Method
1.Cut Ladys finger roundwise and add chilly powder and salt.
2.Mix well.
3.Deep fry in oil.The colour should be a little dark but do not burn it while frying.
4.Add it to the curd.
5.Mix only at the time of serving.

Chilly Potato 
Ingredients
4 medium potatoes
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp.chilly powder
3 tbsp.oil
Method
1.Wash the potatoes and cut into equal size cubes
2. Heat a heavy based pan and add the oil.
3.Add the potatoes to the pan followed by the turmeric powder,chill powder and salt
4.Fry on low flame until golden brown and serve warm

Savoury Groundnuts 
Ingredients
6 cups shelled groundnut
1 table spoon ghee
¼tsp. Mustard seeds
2 tsp. Chilli powder
Salt

Method
1. Boil the ghee in a skillet. Fry the mustard . Add the groundnuts and stir continuously. When the groundnuts are sufficiently roasted remove from fire and sprinkle the chilli, salt and asafoetida powders. Mix well. When cool store away in air tight bottles.

Pappad Murukku 
Ingredients
12 pappadams
2 cups rice flour
1 cup roasted bengal gram dhal powder
1 tsp. Cumin seeds
Sufficient salt -to taste

Method
1. Soak the pappadams in water and grind to a paste.
2. Sieve both flours and mix with  water.
3. Mix all the ingredients together and knead well and make murukku.
